Dear Praying Friends,
August 7th, was the 3rd month of the near fatal family accident that we experienced last May 7 in Calauag, Quezon Province South of Metro Manila. Thank God! He preserved our lives.
We appreciate the prayers and help of our friends and prayer partners during our difficult times. I celebrated my 55th birthday last August 1st. Praise God I'm still around to enjoy life and my service to the Lord and the body of Christ.
I still experience pain on my fractured left hand, ribs and lower back and continue with my Physical Therapy at home. Praise God the pain is now bearable and I am now back doing ministry. Jemuel recovered quickly and is now back in school. He is on his 4 th year Bachelor of Science in Information, Communication and Technology Management (BS-ICTM) at De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Manila. JR (Jose Jr.) who graduated last March 31, 2007 with a degree, Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineer (BS-ECE) at Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, has recovered fast and serve as a volunteer staff (May 21-September 17, 2007) at Oakridge Summer Camp in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He will be back in the Philippines third week of September. Praise God for his ministry with the students during the summer vacation.
Gigi had another X-ray and change of cast last August 9 at St. Luke's Medical Center. The Orthopedic Surgeon feel he needs to put a plaster of paris in the fractured tibia before putting the fiberglass cast. She still undergo Physical Therapy twice a week and uses crutches to move around. She needed grace on how to manage pain. She may still be on cast and use kane in the coming months.
My travel in the provinces has been limited, due to the recent accident and physical condition; I now focus my ministry in the nearby areas of Metropolitan Manila. I could not leave Gigi for long due to her physical condition and could not travel with me.
TEACHING MINISTRY
The Lord has open door to teach a course on "Model of Church Praxis and Spirituality" in the Doctor of Ministry program at the Philippine Christian University in Manila. The class is done every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. I have 14 students taking their D. Min. 6 students from Myanmar (Burma) 3 from Korea, and 5 from the Philippines. I was also invited to teach a course on "Theology and Practice of Evangelism" for the Master of Divinity Program every Tuesday (5-8pm) at the Alliance Graduate School (formerly Alliance Biblical Seminary) in Quezon City, praise God for the 22 students in my class from different countries. I was also asked to teach another course on “Family Life” in the innovative off campus program. Pray that God will use me to create an impact in the lives of the students and as I fellowship and exchange ideas with other faculty.

Our faith journey continues! With all the things that God has done, we don't have reasons to give up or quit. What we need is to press on toward the goal, always trust and obey. Again, we are reminded that the God who called us is Faithful. PTL!
"We often hope to be spared trouble or suffering, and sure it is legitimate to pray that we may. be. But when the answer is no, God sends what has not been asked: strength to endure and grace sufficient".
Continue to journey with us. In Jesus Name, let's pray for financial provision, strength, wisdom and guidance as we continue to trust God for full physical recovery for me and my family.
Pressing On, Thank you for your prayers.
